Anne has more than 15 years of experience in a variety of strategic communications arenas. She brings a broad range of strategic expertise to FPR: results driven media/public relations planning and execution, issues management, executive media training, crisis communications, trade and employee relations.
In addition to supporting some of Chicago’s best PR agencies and their clients, Anne’s client consulting experience ranges from leaders in healthcare such as Central DuPage Hospital, Advocate Good Shepherd Hospital, Rush-Copley Medical Center and Northwestern Memorial Hospital, to consumer marketing giants such as McDonald’s Canada/Moscow, Whirlpool and Culligan Consumer Products; to highly specialized clients such as Champaign County Economic Development Corporation, The Poetry Foundation and CNA Insurance Companies.
In 1999, Anne co-directed (with JD&A) strategic planning and media relations programming for the opening of Northwestern Memorial Hospital’s redevelopment project, which was recognized in 2000 with the Publicity Club of Chicago’s Gold Trumpet Award for Special Events.
In addition to her career as a PR consultant, Anne has also been on the client side. While working in the Media Relations Department of McDonald’s Corporation, Anne coordinated spokesperson activities and participated in award-winning public relations programming and effective media relations management. Continuing her relationship with McDonald’s, Anne provided contract counsel (through Continental Golin-Harris) for media relations, media training and issues management to McDonald’s Restaurants of Canada and its subsidiary, McDonald’s-Moscow.
Anne is on the Board of the Directors for The Wellness Place, a cancer resource center in Palatine, IL.
